My name is Yanping Fang. My students address me as Fang lao shi (teacher). I am a native Chinese speaker. I have been teaching Mandarin since 2013 in the United States.

I have California teaching credential and certificate in Waldorf Education.

My strength is making learning basic Chinese characters fun, meaningful and productive. I love singing, dancing and cooking. You will hear me singing a lot of Chinese songs on my Youtube channel. Because learning Chinese through singing is both efficient and fun.

People who have eaten my dumplings say that my dumplings are the best. I also cook authentic Chinese food with my students in the classroom, like moon cakes, dumplings, noodles, fried rice, etc.
